Most Growth Problems Are Data Problems

Not creative problems. Not budget problems. Not channel problems. By the time a brand hits its first growth ceiling, the cause is almost always upstream — broken tracking, fragmented identity, audiences blind to revenue, ops that don't connect. We diagnose at the data layer first.

Engineering Over Creative — for the Underlying Layer

Great creative compounds great infrastructure. It can't replace it. Server-side tracking, identity resolution, warehouse modeling, automated activation — these are engineering disciplines. Treating them like marketing leads to the same broken state most brands live with.

Ownership Over Rental

Your data stack should outlive your vendor relationship. Open-source where it's mature (n8n, RudderStack, dbt). Self-hostable where you need sovereignty (Coolify on your own infra). When we leave, the stack is yours — every config, every model, every workflow, in your git, on your warehouse, under your control.

We don't scale a sales team that hands off to junior implementers. The person who scopes your work is the person who builds it. The trade-off is honest: we take fewer clients, charge accordingly, and refuse engagements that don't fit. The benefit is a shape of consulting that's gone from the market.

Five operational principles that shape every engagement — from first call to handover.

Audit Before Pitch

Every engagement starts with a measured audit. Where is data leaking, where are handoffs breaking, what is the size of the gap. We don't propose work until we can quantify the opportunity.

Architecture Before Campaigns

We design the system before we build any piece of it. Schemas, identity graph, mart layer, activation flows — all documented before the first PR lands. Saves weeks of rebuild downstream.

Documentation as a Deliverable

Runbooks per workflow. dbt docs as the data dictionary. Schema specs in git. The doc is part of the engagement, not a courtesy. Your team can debug, extend, and rebuild without us — that's the goal.

Handover-First Thinking

Every architectural choice is filtered through a question: "Can the client's team maintain this once we're gone?". If the answer is no, we choose differently. Self-hostable over locked-in. Standard tooling over custom magic.

When We're Done, You Run It

No retainer dependency. No permanent reliance. The stack ships, the team is trained, the docs are written. Optional ongoing support is just that — optional. The default is your team owning what we built.

Stating it up front saves everyone time. If you're looking for one of the things below, we will gladly refer you.

We don't sell creative

No copywriting engagements, no ad creative, no brand design. We architect the system around the creative your team or your agency produces.

We don't push vendor-locked stacks

Open-source first. Self-hostable where it matters. If a vendor cloud serves you better, we say so. If it locks you in, we say that too.

We don't run ad accounts

Media buying is a different discipline. We make sure your accounts run on real data, then we step back. Your media team or agency drives.

We don't take copy-only or template engagements

If the scope is "set up a Klaviyo flow" or "write three emails", we refer you to someone better suited. Our shape is architecture.

We don't bundle the stack

Each layer — warehouse, CDP, CRM, activation, automation — is an independent choice based on your needs, budget, and team. Not a pre-packaged kit.
